How We Support
We are committed to listening to the voices of the autistic community, embracing developments in research, and adjusting to changes in thinking. Across our services, our culture is to recognise diversity in the people we support and how they see the world.
Are you looking for support that works for you? Teams at Autism Initiatives are trained to support people in the most beneficial way for the individual. We understand differences in thinking and are dedicated to supporting social and emotional mental health. Our specialist staff aim to understand the person as a whole, developing positive relationships with greater depth.
Our service designs are flexible, informed by our understanding of how physical and interpersonal environments affect each autistic person differently. We believe in refining our support and services to match individuals and their aims.
Personal Budgets
The term ‘Personal budget’ is used to describe the total cost of the care and support services a local authority will arrange or provide to meet someone’s needs, which is worked out after an assessment. The person should then be told what their indicative budget is. They can then decide how they would like their personal budget to be managed.
If you are in control of your own, or a loved ones, personal budget and would like to find out more about how we can provide support please get in touch
