We are seeking enthusiastic and resilient Senior Support Workers with good communication skills to join our team. You will work alongside people who use our services, supporting in a range of activities, including developing independence in daily living, accessing work/education and leisure activities.

At Autism Initiatives we work alongside people with autism, providing specialist services tailored to each individual. Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion for providing person centred support as well as a positive attitude, is key to being successful in this role.

Given the nature of the role, these positions are subject to an enhanced Access NI disclosure for the successful applicants. The cost of which will be met by the organisation.

You will be required to refund the Access NI cost of £33.00 to Autism Initiatives if you leave your employment within six months of your commencement date.

Essential Criteria:

  • Working, Voluntary or Personal knowledge of providing care and support
  • Be flexible to work on a rota basis that includes some unsocial hours and weekends
  • GCSE Maths and English at grades C or above, or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least one year
