Posted on 30th August 2018

Hello my name is Karolina Traczyk I’m 20 years old, and I live in Cherrywood Dublin 18 I would like to tell you about my work experience written by me ...

About 4 years ago I joined Autism Initiatives in Glasnevin run by the manager Amanda Rynn.  I’m a student at Roslyn Park College in Sandymount.  I’m currently studying a foundation course which includes the following modules IT skills, art communications, and work experience.

I am required to complete 5 days’ work experience in total during my course. I’ve started work experience with Amanda Mc Donald in Newtown offices and will do for a few hours over a number of weeks.

I’m a very determined hardworking practitioner and student. I work hard every day to achieve most of my goals in life. I’m very friendly to staff and speak very fluent English language as my first language is Polish.  I'm very helpful towards staff and other members. I’m now helping Amanda McDonald doing some paper shredding, making phone calls and giving other workers messages from Amanda.

I’m very nervous on the phone at times but very polite. I helped Amanda mc Donald to count money for The Hope charity raised with the amount of 80 euro. I’ve met Amanda’s friend Miriam and she’s very friendly person and she is travelling to Calcutta in October to help kids on the street .

I’m ever so proud to be working with such an amazing people from Autism initiatives and I’m hoping to continue on my journey with the autism initiatives spectrum services I’m a huge Michael Jackson fan and I recently went on the concert in Beatyard festival in Dun Laoghaire and it was great fun I had a fabulous night. It was great and amazing experience for me.

I enjoy going to the Autism Initiatives in Glasnevin and be a practitioner for one day in Amanda’s office.
