Autism Initiatives, in collaboration with Dance Ireland invite you to an evening where dance and autism come together

Join us on Thursday 11th July from 6pm - 7pm at Dance House, 1 Foley Street, Dublin 1 for an evening of celebration and dance.

Since 2018 a group of autistic people have been meeting each week to dance. The dancefloor has become a perfect tool to support their personal and social development, increasing inclusion in the community and social relationships.

Dancing to different rhythms has freed them to experience a broader range of movement. Transitions, progressions and choice making are some of the exercises that when practised in dance class can be transferred into their daily lives, maximising their independence.

These weekly gatherings have increased the health and well-being of attendees, and have supported personal expression, confidence and creativity.

We hope you will join us for a joyful and celebratory event. Everyone is welcome, but please do RSVP to reserve places. RSVP by phone to Patricia on 085 254 1933 or use the link below to book your place by email.
