Did you know HOSS has moved?

Posted on 19th March 2019

HOSS, the Highland One Stop Shop based in Inverness, has moved to a new location!

Designed for autistic adults aged 16 and over living in the Highlands, HOSS provides free social groups and activities, scheduled drop in times, and 1-1 appointments for advice and support.

They regularly run the Coffee and Cake Chit Chat Club, Cinema Club, Employability and Games groups, and the Gourmet and lunch clubs (just to name a few!).

Project co-ordinator Gill MacLennan said “it’s a delight to be in the new space, we are still able to offer all the same services but in a newer, more spacious building.  It’s on 1/1A Friar’s Street just opposite the Old High Church – we even had a little party when it first opened.”

The team are hoping to start several more groups throughout 2019 and have recently started a new Sports and Fitness Group which runs monthly on a Monday.  If you have any suggestions for groups or activities, you can just let a member of the team know.

Their website is in the process of getting updated so keep your eyes open for new and exciting projects being set up by the wonderful Highlands team. To find out about existing groups and projects please take a look at their up to date calendar here or check out their most recent newsletter which even includes a delicious recipe for a Sausage Bolognese!
