Autism Initiatives Group and all its subsidiary charities are voluntarily registered with The Fundraising Regulator and report on fundraising activities annually. The Regulator has published a Code of Fundraising Practice that relies on the key principles and behaviours of Legal, Open, Honest and Respectful fundraising work within all organisations.
Autism Initiatives is fully committed to all these principles and behaviours in order to maintain high ethical fundraising standards.
In addition:-
- We don’t use any money that has been donated directly by the public to pay head office or head office salary costs.
- 78% of income raised from the Walk for Autism fundraising campaign in 2024 will help to fund projects that support autistic people within Autism Initiatives Group.
- 5% of the income for this campaign is taken in transaction charges from online donations
- 9% is used to promote fundraising and awareness of the campaign
- 8% covers the costs of postage, printing and T shirts
- 100% of all other fundraising donations helps to fund projects that supports autistic people as Autism Initiatives cover these costs
