A spacious former rectory featuring en-suite facilities, light and airy day rooms and extensive grounds

Minshull House, a beautiful former rectory nestled next to St Mary’s church in the historic village of West Derby provides a hotel-style experience tailored to meet the needs of its guests.

This short break service is available for autistic adults from the age of 18, backs on to the 500 acre Croxteth Country Park. Minshull House benefits from its own large grounds which feature sensory planting, a deck and barbeque area and a wildlife garden complete with squirrel assault course.

Our staff are autism specialists who take time to listen and understand each guests’ needs and what they would like to do or achieve during their stay. This enables us to offer the right levels of support and make desirable activities and excursions available.

Tailored provision

The Bay, Respite House, is located in the heart of Wicklow Town with easy access to all the local amenities.

Known as a home away from home, The Bay is a four bedroom detached bungalow that benefits from the privacy of being surrounded by a mature garden and a deck area that has a beautiful view of one of the local churches.

Wicklow Town is the capital town of Co. Wicklow and features the Black Castle ruins which overlook the harbour and stand as a reminder of the Norman invasion.

The harbour and its surrounds play an integral part in the life of the town, both commercially and from a tourist point of view. Guests at The Bay can enjoy a stroll along the piers or venture further to The Murrough, a coastal wetland, very popular with walkers and nature lovers where you can enjoy beautiful views of the town and coastline.
