Autism Initiatives NI are keen to recognise talent and encourage promotion opportunities from within! Stewart says

“I am a Team Leader in the Armagh services within Autism Initiatives. I became part of this team in March 2018. I came in as a Senior Support Worker and since then I have completed my Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care. After 9 months in this organisation I progressed to Team Leader and am currently doing my level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management. Autism Initiatives have funded my doing both of these courses which has given me lots of opportunities, including the potential to progress to Manager in the future. By getting these opportunities I can now see myself having a long term career within Autism Initiatives."
"I find this job rewarding, working alongside the service users and supporting them in their daily lives as well as helping to lead and manage the team allows me to feel fulfilled. Every day is different and each individual we support is different. This role also makes me feel like I am making a positive difference to all of the service users lives and I think that’s what this organisation is all about."
