The Autism Initiatives Group is proud to celebrate outstanding apprenticeship success rates. Since joining the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, our organisation has worked to support and inspire apprentices across the UK, as they embark on the next step in their career.

Following the Government’s gift levy pledge in 2017, Autism Initiatives has gratefully received levy funds from a number of corporate supporters, including Amazon, Liverpool John Moores University, local NHS Trusts and QVC. As a result, we have been able to offer new and existing members of staff an array of advantageous apprenticeship opportunities.

Mark Power, Interim Vice Chancellor at Liverpool John Moores University, said: “Rather than see that money wasted, we have worked with the Combined Authority to facilitate this transfer of funds to Autism Initiatives, who will be able to benefit from the creation of 44 new apprentice care workers.”

Sam Manning, Chief Operating Officer at Excelcare said, “We’re glad to be able to donate our unused levy funds to support such a life-changing charity and work in collaboration with partnership training to develop existing skills and train new staff.”

The Success of Apprenticeships with Autism Initiatives

This year, we are celebrating a milestone achievement for Autism Initiatives apprenticeships.

Data captured by the Education and Skills Funding Agency highlights that our organisation has an outstanding 86% success rate for health and social care apprenticeships. This surpasses the 51% success rate across all sectors, plus the Government’s aspiration for 65% of apprentices to achieve their qualification.

Autism Initiatives’ 86% success rate reflects the organisation’s commitment to our levy funds, the gifted levy funds we have received, and of course, the hard work of our team. We would like to congratulate all Autism Initiatives apprentices and recognise the dedication they have shown to their development.

As an organisation, we aim to provide all apprentices with high-quality apprenticeships, supported by experienced teams of staff.

“A big thank you from the Learning and Development team for your investment in our staff to support our continued training and development of autism practitioners.”
