Autism Initiatives Scotland are delighted that our programme has been awarded funding through Scottish Government’s Adult Autism Support Fund. This is a National Late Diagnosis Group programme (LDG) and will be run both online and in-person.
Development of the programme has been led by autistic staff and shaped by its participants.
The seven session, neuro-affirming programme covers a range of topics, and provides opportunities for participants to connect with others who share similar experiences to them.
Participants comment on how informative and fun the programme is, and how it’s made a real positive difference to their life:
“The small numbers in the group made it feel more inclusive…It just generally felt good all round”
“Meeting other autistic people in a small group and sharing our experiences was what I found most helpful”
